What this book does very well in my mind, apart from a complete introduction to everything needed to understand agile, is to also position it in comparison to other methodologies and by looking at the history create a clear understanding what is really behind this methodology in particular. Suddenly that felt very funny to Seaman. The photos and the stories are incredibly moving.
