I highly recommend it.. Since much of the information necessarily must be conveyed on a single page, the solution for the next edition is to make the book slightly larger. Then I found that every missing letter was interrupting my concentration on the material. The Monster Hunter novels are packed with hardcore action, huge set pieces ,deep characters, and involving plots and yet Hard Magic is able to transcend them and create a whole new level of awesome.First, the universe Correia has created. The faces leap off the page, sometimes "more alive than the sitters themselves." The short essays about the creation of each work, the life of the sitter, etc., are interesting and though repetitive (there is a similarity among his subjects--rich, pampered, often without much upstairs) never get dull. You can't really see much if you don't open them and there is so much to SEE on this adventure if you face the challenge!
