In its most sinister form, it drives young mothers to suicide and even murder. There actually is such a threat and it's called Postpartum Depression (PPD) and though it's been studied for decades, the real horror is that so few women and men realize the sheer destructiveness, the utter lethality of this illness. It's a modern day horror story -- a worldwide pandemic that impacts up to one in five families with sometimes terrifying and tragic results. It affects women of all ages, economic status, and all ethnic backgrounds. "A Daughter’s Touch" is an honest account of one woman's journey through postpartum depression, told with uncommon compassion and humor.. It completely alters a person's personality, moods, morality. Scathing, brilliant, and often times hilarious, this account of her near-fatal struggle with PPD details the harrowing frustration she experienced with doctors, psychiatrists, agencies and even friends as she fought for her life and that of her child. Sylvia Lasalandra is a survivor of PPD and this is her riveting storyStunning achievement. Thank you Sylvia, for all your hard work, your inspiring book and especially for your commitment to women who suffer from PPD and who seek comfort from you and your experience so they, too, can believe in themselves again.. It is especially useful if either or both parents have a history of allergy. Bought for my husband but he gives it big thumbs up.. I will keep this book, and refer to it, for many years to come. Many of the standard Facebook tropes ("stealing/selling your data", "Zuck is evil", etc.) are explained for the misleading baloney that they are. Michael Lyon (MD) refers to Dr. Life after cancer is very different but I believe it gives people a very real insight into what life truly is about.. Was a super addition to my husbands collection of readying and browsing material!. That the author would whine about it reflects how out of whack expectations are in the overheated market. I can see myself turning to specific chapters all the time to help me find a better mindset and improve where I’m finding myself. In summary: This is a terrific little text book on helping you learn about the energy we all have and how to benefit from it.. The author has been treating Lyme cases
